ISG and R&E warmly invite our TGH nursing staff and team member partners to join our first networking and happy hour event. We've extended the hours to accommodate different shifts, and we'll host another event at the end of the month for those with scheduling conflicts. We can't wait to see you there and at many more events to come!

Keep an eye out for upcoming happy hours hosted by ISG featuring company- and facility-focused events, as well as community sponsored gatherings.

Important Updates

Reminder

As we move forward, all PRN shifts will be scheduled with the understanding that assigned providers may be called off if there is a decrease in census or if the shift is no longer necessary. Providers can expect to receive a notification call regarding their shift status within 24 hours. In the event that a provider is notified within 12 hours of the scheduled shift, they will be compensated with a $250 inconvenience fee for their availability.

Process Developments

ISG App

  • We are excited to share that ISG is designing an app to serve as a comprehensive resource for our team members. This app will provide quick and easy access to vital information, including contact numbers for key personnel, important protocols, and essential facility and organizational details—all at your fingertips. Our goal is to streamline communication and enhance efficiency, ensuring that you have the resources you need readily available. Stay tuned for more updates on its launch!

Charge Capture Application

  • We are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of our new Charge Capture application, hosted by Zoho Creator. Some of you have already had the opportunity to participate in a soft rollout and trial, and we truly appreciate your valuable contributions.

While not everyone is currently using the application, we are excited to extend the experience company-wide to enhance the submission process for all users. This new feature will streamline your experience by allowing you to select your shift instead of manually entering the shift name, location, and date. Additionally, you will have the ability to review and edit your submissions as needed.

Please stay tuned for an email containing instructions on how to easily install the application and access the setup guide, which will be sent before the end of this quarter. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to making this process more efficient for everyone.

Transitional Care Clinic

  • As previously communicated, we are pleased to announce the ramp-up of our Transitional Care Clinic (TCC) program under the direction of Melinda Flynn. We would like to take this opportunity to thank those providers who have been actively engaged in post-discharge follow-up care and supporting continuity for their patients.

Your contributions in identifying and sharing discharges for patients who qualify for the TCC clinic team are essential as we work to enhance our services and integrate both telehealth and in-office visits to reduce readmissions and improve follow-up care. If you have any post-discharge patients, please reach out to our newest TCC team member, Sara Encinosa, APRN, at sencinosa@isgmedical.com. She will be happy to assist you in supporting your patients.

Thank you for your continued involvement and participation as we advance this growth initiative together.

Policy Adherence, Compliance and Organizational Standards

Performance

As many of you may have heard in our recent town hall communication, ISG is proud to be entering its seventh year. We are focused on optimizing our financial performance, quality of care, and cultural consistency across all facilities. This commitment encompasses delivering high-quality care, offering concierge services, and fostering a culture of recognition and professionalism.

To support these goals, we are excited to introduce enhanced incentives through profit sharing as part of our new physician compensation plan, along with improved billing practices and greater transparency.

To uphold these high standards and fully realize the benefits of our collective efforts, we kindly ask each of you to adhere to ISG and facility-specific policies and protocols. This includes compliance with sepsis bundles, medical readiness, fluid management, and timely responses to queries and patient/family meetings. Thank you for your dedication to excellence and your continued commitment to incredible patient care.

Documentation

We'd like to remind all providers of the critical importance of maintaining high standards in our documentation practices. It has come to our attention that there have been instances of inappropriate documentation, including the practice of copying and pasting notes with minimal changes. This not only raises concerns about the integrity of our records but also has serious implications for patient care and compliance.

Effective documentation is essential for several reasons:

  1. Patient Care: Accurate and thorough documentation ensures that other providers can follow your patient's care clearly and effectively. This is of utmost importance in delivering high-quality healthcare.

  2. Compliance: All documentation must be in compliance with CMS and federal guidelines. Inadequate documentation can lead to billing fraud, which is a criminal offense. It is vital that we adhere to proper documentation standards to avoid any audits or legal repercussions.

Please be aware that inappropriate documentation and failure to comply with policy standards can result in the suspension of facility privileges and may lead to legal complications. We urge you to be diligent in your documentation practices. Each entry should accurately reflect the unique circumstances of the patient’s care, and we encourage you to review your notes thoroughly before finalizing them.

We thank you for maintaining the highest standards of documentation. Your integrity is appreciated and essential for the well-being of our patients and the integrity of your license and our practice.

Scheduling

The holiday schedules have now been published. If you have any questions or trade requests, please contact us at scheduling@isgmedical.com. We encourage you to use Qgenda, our scheduling platform, for all future requests or trades. As always, our scheduling team is here to support you with any additional needs that require further assistance. Thank you for your cooperation!

Benefits Enrollment

We would like thank everyone for your recent participation in our new employee benefits enrollment through Florida Blue. You can expect to receive your benefits cards in the mail soon. In the meantime, please note that our administration team has virtual temporary cards available for your use.

Community Support

Hurricane Relief

To support our healthcare heroes affected by the hurricanes, ISG has launched a donation page to collect funds that will be distributed directly to community healthcare workers and employees who have been displaced. Your contributions will help alleviate some of the financial burdens they are facing as a result of Helene & Milton.

ISG Perks

The ISG VIP Program is a collaborative initiative designed to provide exclusive benefits to ISG employees. Through this program, we have established partnerships with various businesses committed to supporting our team. These partners have generously offered discounts on their services and products, allowing our employees to enjoy valuable savings while accessing a wide range of offerings. The program aims to enhance the overall experience of our employees by fostering community connections and promoting well-being through these special privileges.

In addition to these benefits, the organization has secured a corporate membership that includes exciting perks, such as the opportunity to receive tickets through the Lightning as a token of appreciation for your hard work.

We are thrilled to announce that more benefits are on the way as we continue to expand our networking initiatives. We will keep our staff informed about new offerings as they become available.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
